RESPONSIBILITIES: A Houston Consulting firm is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their team working a Hybrid schedule for a client in Houston Texas. In this role you will be an extension of the IT team working with the Merger and Acquisition business teams gathering requirements, conducting user facilitation, and providing data and process analysis. You will serve as the liaison between the business users and technical development team utilizing strong interpersonal and documentation skills. REQUIREMENTS:- 10 years of IT project experience- 3-5 years as a Subject Matter Expert or Business Analyst working with business users and Information Technology team members.- Project background in IT Infrastructure (network, security, compute, storage) as that's what will be integrated during the M&A processes.- Preferred experience working directly with data utilizing SQL or strong Excel skills, but not required- Preferred Oil and Gas background, but not required.- Preferred experience working in an environment experiencing M&A activity and associated opportunities and challenges.
