If interested please share your resume at Title: Functional Test Automation Engineer- SAP Web AppsLocation: Austin, TX (Onsite)Duration: 12+MonthsNote: Candidate must relocate in 2 weeks if hired Job Description: Responsibilities:Evaluate product functionality and create test strategies and test cases to assess product qualityParticipate in development processes with a focus on automation testingCreate test plans and identify automation opportunitiesConstantly evaluate the test automation strategy and approach to identify areas of improvementBuild and maintain test scripts using automation test tools including TDD/BDD techniquesEnhance existing automation test frameworksIntegrate tests in CI/CD pipeline, establish a continuous build and test cycle.Establish processes and tool sets to maintain automation scripts and generate regular test reportsDevelop high-quality automation test engineering principles, test strategies, and best practices. Must Have Experience:Minimum 3+ years of proven hands-on software testing experienceAt least 2 years of experience with open source automation tools and frameworksStrong knowledge of one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, C)Experience in automated testing, service-oriented architecture, and RESTful APIsStrong knowledge of automation framework concepts and best practicesDemonstrated proficiency with at least one UI automation framework - preferably Selenium Web driver or ProtractorWorking knowledge of software development and test methodologies including unit testing, integration testing, and TDDContinuous automation execution using CI tools like JenkinsCode management using Git or other VCSAgile or Scrum software development methodologiesStrong knowledge of Windows, MacOS and nix based operating systems Strong knowledge of SQL queries Following experience is a plus:Mobile (iOS and Android) test automationCloud-based platformsDocker and KubernetesStrong understanding of modern database systems Education / Experience:Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or other relevant majorMOOC certification is a plus
