Description:The Gas Strategy Project Manager is responsible for leading and executing the Gas Digital As-builting Project at one of our large enterprise Energy clients in Houston, TX.Scope of the initiative includes, but is not limited to: Natural Gas Business LEAN Transitiono Maintaining overall Lean metrics consolidation / assist in setting up “war room” for natural gas leadership.o KPI trees for Natural Gas Business Digital As-Builtingo Collaborating with GIS, Engineering, Capital Delivery, and Operations groups to plan and execute the Digital As-builting process that can be utilized across their entire footprint, starting with the Natural Gas Business. o Working with identified 3rd party vendors and Gas Platform groups on technology updates required to take full advantage of as-builting technologyo Lead Pilot program, review data, host workshops/reviews with engaged personnel to gauge effectiveness of the solution and viability for business-wide implementation. o Upon pilot completion, oversee efforts for rollout plan and implementation across natural gas business.Duties include: Manage the initiative through the project lifecycle including gathering requirements, developing a budget, planning, scheduling, establishing gates, monitoring, and overseeing execution through completion, value delivery, benefit realization and long-term sustainability review. Work with key stakeholders across the Gas business to develop the charter that will address proposed business requirements with varying budgets, timelines, and dependencies. Manage multiple projects and optimize bandwidth to maximize value to the Gas stakeholders. This will include innovation and continuous improvement efforts, including launching new products and services, application development, systems integration, operational efficiency improvements, process improvements and infrastructure upgrades and deployments. Work collaboratively at an expert level with business partners, executive sponsors, project lead and the Gas Platform Triad to manage and oversee all phases throughout the lifecycle of the initiative.Skills:Pmp, gis, Agile, Stakeholder management, Project management, Pmp certificationAdditional Skills & Qualifications: Rigorously manage scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed time, cost, and quality parameters. Propose recommendations and adjustments when required. Where needed, proactively manage changes in scope. Identify potential risks with corresponding contingencies and mitigations. Develop and manage project budget, projected benefit, and financial impact forecasts, and provide ongoing reconciliation of resources and other project expenditures to projections. Develop effective communication plan to meet objectives and ensure stakeholder awareness at all appropriate gates and critical decision points, in addition to regular updates. Develop periodic project status and progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, presentations, and visual management tools. Leverage cross-functional relationships with strategic partners for successful completion of project objectives. Manage large-scale, enterprise-wide projects spanning multiple years with significant O&M and Capital Budgets with complex dependencies and competing objectives. Expertly leverage best practices and innovative skills and techniques in the field of project management for expert-level project management and execution. Optimize time to manage multiple initiatives with varying requirements simultaneously.
