Essential Functions:
  • Strategy development and implementation of operations and objectives for the Connected Department.
  • Look to the future of business and make key investments and recommendations
  • Organize Manager(s) and members with effective financial planning and budgeting for Long Term Planning Cycles.
  • Conduct preliminary investigation for all project requests. Review requirements, specifications, test, support, and training plans to ensure they are in line with business objectives on projects.
  • Report key results to President / CEO
  • Supports organization financial objectives by providing financial analyses and recommendations and directing staff.
  • Anticipate issues impacting budget and identify trends to support informed timely decision-making.
  • Identify systems and process improvements and resource optimization opportunities.
  • Establish framework and lead manager(s) to innovative initiatives designed to minimize cost and maximize organizational efficiency.
  • Perform supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company policies and applicable laws
  • Advise and coordinate to build career path and training needs for the members in division.
  • Follow and deploy COCE principle to supervisors and team members in the division.
  • Oversee and coach department managers and supervisors and their work and provide any necessary feedback. Encourages the ongoing development of the staff.
  • Maintain a positive working environment. Maintain and encourage high ethical and moral standards among the team members.

Supervisory Responsibility:This position has supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:This job operates in a professional office environment which may include working remotely. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:This is a full-time position, 9 am – 6 pm CST. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel:This position requires up to 30% travel. Some of the travels are international.

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business-related field
  • At least 7 years of management experience in business operations or business development
  • At least 5+ years direct supervisory experiences
  • Familiarity with all areas of business including but not limited to accounting, operations, sales, human resources, and engineering
  • MBA is a plus.
