Job Title: GIS EditorLocation: Ft. Worth, TX (50% Onsite)Project Duration: Long Term Contract Details:Preferred to utilize their own computer and high-speed internet service to access a provided virtual machine which will include licensing for all required software.Position Description: The Enterprise GIS Team is looking for a bright, fast-paced individual who can work in a production environment. The GIS Editor would be responsible for creating and labelling features in GIS based upon geo- located aerial imagery.The individual would need to be savvy with various GIS formats, including raster imagery, and have the ability to pick up customized tools, and be able to communicate complex scenarios with great detail. Job Responsibilities-- Creation, QA/QC and analysis of GIS data.
- Use of ArcMap
- Effective communication of data error remediation with GIS editors.
- Detailed notes and tracking of progress during publication process.
- Capacity to quickly and easily adjust to changing priorities.
Job Requirements-- The ideal candidate would have a bachelor's or master’s degree in GIS, Geography, Geology and or Environmental sciences (with GIS emphasis)
Professional Experience-- Editing In GIS using ESRI GIS editing Tools such as ArcGIS Desktop.
- knowledge of the Microsoft suite
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
