MUST LIVE IN THE HOUSTON AREAMust have GIS, PODS, pipeline operations/regulatory knowledge Responsibilities· Load and manage pipeline feature data into the PODS database· Perform QA/QC on pipeline data from PODS· Produce GIS-based pipeline maps using ArcMap· Generate alignment sheets using TurboRoute software· Develop and maintain geodatabases using ESRI software· Create and manage ArcGIS projects Required Qualifications:· Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Surveying, GIS or related discipline, or equivalent work experience· Pipeline GIS and PODS knowledge· Must be work-time flexible to meet customers’ requirements.· Must be capable of handling a diverse workload and multiple tasks, working in a team environment, but also working independently with minimal daily supervision.· Must have depth and breadth of communication skills required to interface and communicate with multiple functional groups ranging from field maintenance personnel, peers, technical, and senior management.· This position requires varied knowledge of multiple technologies and skills including GIS, Database, Geodesy, GPS hardware and software, surveying processes and techniques, and GIS pipeline data management tools.Thank you,Julie YoungSr. Technical Recruiter Odyssey Information Services, Inc.
