GIS Program Manager

Location: Austin, TX (Onsite, 5 days a week)

Duration: Full time Employment to Movate

At least 12 years+

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY:
  • Direct responsibility for the execution of the project as per defined KPI targets on metric, delivery and quality and direct authority over the project(s) assigned, Alignment of Resource Response Plan with forecasted plan on a weekly/monthly level Direct responsibility for Performance and Quality Improvement Projects and continuous development within the assigned project(s)
  • Manage medium to large scale Mapping projects start to end, through hands on supervision of a large team to deliver projects on time and with acceptable quality.
  • Responsible for complete engagements operations, revenue, business improvement and customer relationship.
  • Strong collaboration skills and should work independently with functional teams within the organization and client.
  • Review the operations regularly and update to senior management on business impact if any.
  • Responsible for yearly business charter and resource plan in line with client requirement.
  • Single point contact for any issues related to delivery/operations.
  • Highest level escalation point in case of any Quality /Delivery within the projects/processes.
  • Review the engagement health monthly and take corrective actions for improvements.
  • Provide necessary support to the team on delivery/operation improvements.
  • Part of Organization development plan and Foresight.
  • Provide the monthly updates to client/senior management of project health and provide action items

COMPETENCIES & SKILLS:
  • Strong communication skills, CRM and client communication
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and GIS software packages
  • Technical writing, Case studies and business writing skills
  • Program and Project management skills. Experience in project planning, resource management, risk assessments, quality assurance, and continuous improvement processes. Demonstrated operation management skills as well as a good understanding of quality processes, i.e. LEAN, Six Sigma.
