JOB SUMMARYThe GIS QA Analyst monitors nd manages issues for data maintained within the geographic information services department.Service as a consultant to business stakeholders to create regional standard and training content EXPERIENCE : 3-5 YEARS ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain a high level of data quality through rigorous data analysis and auditing of all data used in GIS.Interpret historical and current installation records such as work orders, sketches and print tickets.Produce comprehensive reports on data analysis to inform business decisions and priortize information systemsuse tools succh as ArcMap ,PowerBI, SQL, and Excel to analyse and identify issues using both pre defined adhoc approachesCreate and maintain documentation of internal QC process and standards Additional skills and knowledge:Understand the work and service provided by the company for gas and electric facilitiesDemonstrate and apply knowledge for drafting the principles and techniquesUnderstand basic GIS principles and applications Interpret gas or electric drawings, symbolism and related technical informationCommunicate clearly, orally and in written with both the technical and non technical employees and customersoperate effectively in team environmentAble to evaluate workload to schedule and assess daily task to self and other bassed on individuals knowledge ,skills and abilitiesWork under limited supervision and complete all assigned tasks accurately and timelyTrain and coach other employeesunderstand and comply with company and industry safety standards and regulationsAdapt to changing job requirementsDemonstrate respect for all individualsAdhere to the company value and business practices PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Able to communicate orally inn a clear manner.Able to hear oral communication either in person or on equipment such as telephone or mobile phone
