Based in Austin, TX , you will be supporting Emerson’s Global Cybersecurity initiative for process control systems while collaborating with regional sales resources to drive the programs and growth aligned with the company’s vision and strategic objectives. The process control industry has many critical applications that require a high degree of safety and availability. You will work with a team who supports customers globally to improve their cybersecurity posture for industrial control systems, by engaging early with customers’ Information Technology teams.In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Promote, strategically position, and drive growth of Emerson cybersecurity solutions within the Process System and Software business unit.

Develop and implement the business plan and strategy to grow the cybersecurity solutions portfolio, while partnering with the regional resources globally.

Train, coach and support the regional cybersecurity business development team and Emerson sales channel to ensure sales goals are accomplished.

Take an active role in the assessment and pursuit of strategic projects.

Present cybersecurity solutions and services, which also work with IT systems.

Support the definition and follow up of metrics and plans/strategies that support successful growth of the cybersecurity business.

Cybersecurity trusted advisor and focal point for our customers.

Develop customer collateral specific to the services and solutions this group provides to customers.

Support (commercially) the development of partnerships with key vendors that can provide solutions to augment the Emerson’s cybersecurity solution portfolio.

Actively pursue working agreements with partners in tandem with the Cybersecurity Group leadership goals, as well as pulling other Emerson customers into the discussion such as: Legal, Program Management, Product Marketing, Marketing Communications, etc.

Attend Emerson’s Users Exchange conference while supporting the various initiatives associated to this event.

Lead the basic cybersecurity assessment process from creation through delivery to customer.

Partner with Emerson's proposals team to articulate the best solution while ensuring our performance indicators are met.

Collaborate with other team members to provide answers to customers’ request for Information questionnaires.

Provide customer insight to product management in order to assist in aiming for new/improved cybersecurity solutions.

Bachelor’s degree.

A minimum of 7 years experience technical sales, business development or business management experience, preferably in the technology, IT, business consulting or industrial areas.

Solid understanding of Microsoft tools to support the business such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, PowerBI, among others.

Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% within the US or internationally, as needed.

Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field of study.

Advanced knowledge of industrial cybersecurity solutions and services sales.

Strong presentation skills for in person or online settings.

Experience with the coordination of globally located and shared sales teams.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with ability to clearly communicate technical information to a range of audiences.

Experience with Industrial Control System challenges in multiple industries.
