GNSS Field Design Engineer- Responsible for the design, development and deployment of systems components, including enterprise infrastructure. Projects are typically focused on both software and hardware components. Evaluates existing systems to understand capabilities and recommend solutions. Work with non-technical business owners to understand needs and develop a technical solution. Participates in the layout design and installation of new systems or modification of existing systems. Develop and manage systems integration projects. Identifies and resolves existing system deficiencies. M`ust have strong communication skills to interact with business counterparts. Prior systems engineering experience in large enterprise environments is required.- Develop and execute test plan with focus on customer experience for fitness and location use cases. - Generate system performance test reports with key performance indicators and highlight top issues. - Collaborate with 3rd party vendors throughout the project cycle. - Work with team members spread across various time zones. Strong working experience with field/lab testing in GPS, location, fitness or wireless technologies.- Knowledge in system test plan creation and execution for any given technology.- Great eye towards attention to detail.- Professional communication skills tailored to situation and audience, well proven written/verbal communication skills.- Must be able to work independently and should be proactive.
