  • Client is seeking a highly skilled and experience GOM (Gulf of Mexico) Asset IT/ Project Management Practitioner to join their team in the oil and gas industry.
  • The ideal candidate must have a strong background in assent management, project planning, IT management, stakeholder engagement, and excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • The candidate should possess at least 5 years of experience in each of the required skills, and a bachelor's degree in information systems is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with the Clarity project management toll and proficiency in MS Project would be advantageous.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Project Planning:
  • Gather requirements from stakeholders, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of project objectives, cope and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timeliness, milestones, resource allocation, and dependencies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks, develop mitigation strategies and ensure project success.
  • Conduct test planning and execution, coordinating with relevant teams to ensure quality assurance and adherence to project requirements.
  • Facilitate project go-live activities, ensuring a smooth transition from development to production environments.
2. Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Establish and maintain strong g relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors.
  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment of project goals.
3. Verbal and Written Communication:
  • Effectively communicate with project requirements, status, and risks to both technical to non-technical stakeholders.
Additional requirements:
  • Ability to work on-site at the client's location for 3 days a week and remotely for 2 days a week.
  • No visa restrictions
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meetings.
  • Knowledge of the oil and gas industry, specifically in drilling completions
  • Support the GOM service delivery in managing projects end to end using waterfall methodology and budgets to meet the goals of the business and clients.
  • Develop and execute detailed project plan, provide weekly status updates to IT and business stakeholders.
  • Facilitate project governance and reporting.
