Job Description:

About the opportunity:We are seeking a Senior Cloud Implementations Lead/Sr. Manager Cloud Infrastructure Engineering with extensive experience in Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure, and DevOps to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure design and implementation, with expertise in Google Cloud Platform, AWS, and Azure. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of cloud infrastructure and DevOps subject matter experts, with a primary focus on Google Cloud Platform.

Your Day to Day:
  • Manage and foster deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform, including recruiting additional cloud and DevOps SMEs.
  • Custody of Client's Google Cloud Platform cloud ecosystem.
  • Develop and provision Google Cloud Platform services via IaC/Terraform.
  • Manage orchestrated workloads and container registries.
  • Build and configure Docker images.
  • Ownership of the CICD ecosystem tied to infrastructure and application frame builds and releases in Google Cloud Platform.
  • Design, build, and maintain CICD pipeline templates in Azure DevOps.
  • Provide technical/architectural direction in new Google Cloud Platform-based cloud infrastructure initiatives.
  • Design, build, and support the observability ecosystem tied to services in Google Cloud Platform.

We’d love it if you had:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering.
  • Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform cloud infrastructure design and implementation.
  • AWS cloud infrastructure implementation (AWS SysOps certification equivalent experience).
  • Extensive, hands-on experience deploying and administering containerized workloads in Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and AWS using Kubernetes infrastructure (GKE, EKS, AKS).
  • Experience with Docker containerization and Helm charts.
  • Experience with K8S control planes and observability tooling (Rancher, Rafay, etc.).
  • Extensive, hands-on experience with declarative and imperative Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementations using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Azure Resource Manager templates.
  • Deep expertise leveraging DevOps paradigms and best practices, including but not limited to: key SDLC methodologies and implementations in Azure DevOps, CICD in Azure DevOps (pipelines as code, YAML, etc.), feature flag management tooling and paradigms (LaunchDarkly), GitOps tooling (ArgoCD).
  • Extensive expertise with the Hashicorp stack (Terraform and Vault in particular).
  • Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a team.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
