JOB SUMMARYThe Group Account Manager 1 serves as a liaison for the sales and account management functions for large employer group clients. This position is responsible for developing sound sales strategies, focused on profitability, retention and growth.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE

Develops sound sales strategies focused on retention and growth.

Serves as a lead strategic contact between the assigned clients and the health plan.

Seeks out community service or business networking opportunities in the community.

Maintains contact and communication with leadership regarding account activities.

Runs financial reports or performs basic financial study on utilization data and market research data.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

Experience in HMO, group health insurance, marketing/public relations or related field required.

Seasoned sales and service professional with instinctive ability to understand client needs, trained at communicating with team members at all levels of the organization; endless energy and enthusiasm for service and innovation.

Able to prioritize workload and set expectations to deliver a high level of client satisfaction.

EDUCATION - Bachelors Degree or Associates Degree plus 5 years of work experience or HS Diploma plus 7 years of work experience qualification

Hmo/Group 1 Texas License (HMO): HMO/Group 1 Texas License required
