Is this part of a larger initiative?• P-144001 Candidate Technical and skills profile: • Working with and taking direction from both PNC and Cloudera vendor resources to accomplish the upgrade• Attending meetings to discuss technical details, issues, and resolutions• Collaboration with teamTechnical skills, tools, or experience:- Candidate must have experience upgrading from Cloudera CDH 6.3 to CDP 7.1.x
- Extensive experience with Hadoop platform support:Performance monitoring/tuning
Troubleshooting/resolving issuesWorking with vendors & internal groups to determine Root Cause and remediationExperience supporting/upgrading Cloudera Data Hub, Cloudera Manager, Cloudera Navigator (version 5.13.x or newer)Designing/configuring/tuning replication (BDR or other replication tools)Familiar with set up and tuning of various components:• Kafka• Impala• Hue• Hive• Yarn• Oozie• Sentry• Key Trustee• Encryption (i.e. – NavEncrypt, HDFS encryption, etc)• Experience setting up new clusters (security, user authentication, backup/recovery, data replication, service segregation, failover, loadbalancing, storage, firewall rules, network, etc). Prefer experience with setting up on-premise clusters.• Trouble shooting technical and application issues - here's not what's working (service or software), need to be able to triage• Install and upgrade platform• Data replication• Entire environment is Linux - must have experience and knowledge with Linux • Must have all skills listed• Must be a team player (work with other members of team, other PNC groups, vendors, etc)• Must be a good communicator (verbal and written)• Experience leading a technical team specific to Cloudera support• High School Degree and Bachelor's degree (computer science, software engineering, or relevant field) or equivalent work experience required. • 6-8 years' experience required (overall experience with platform)• 4-5 years of Hadoop Perform design tasks and develop components of application and technical architecture,Develop test cases and data,Execute tests for the application or technical architecture components, work with other programmers, designers, and architects to meet application requirements and performance goals, participate in code reviews, inform the technical architect and project manager of any issues that may affect any other areas of the project, fix any defects and performance problems discovered in testing, document the application to facilitate maintenance.
