HELP DESK SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

Horn Solutions has partnered with a local San Antonio client to bring on a Help Desk Technician. The Help Desk Technician will primarily be responsible for providing technical assistance to end users over the phone, via remote access, and in person. Helps in identifying, troubleshooting, resolving or escalating desktop hardware, printing, network connection, and application software problems. This position will be

on-site in San Antonio.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Monitors the Helpdesk ticket tracking system to respond to problems identified by users in a timely manner.
  • Provide telephone, remote, and in person assistance to end-users in need of support.
  • Ability to manage Windows based desktops, laptops, and devices in a corporate network environment.
  • Respond efficiently and professionally to Business Personnel requesting hardware, software, and cybersecurity incidents.
  • Installs, configures, maintains, desktop & laptop hardware and software.
  • Understanding of mobile devices, how they operate in a corporate environment (i.e. MS Exchange clients on Android, iOS)
  • Creates modifies and deletes domain accounts in Active Directory and creates email accounts as directed.
  • Flexibility to roll with changes in a faced paced, challenging, and rewarding environment
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Good attitude and a desire to help others.
  • Ability to remain positive in the face of adversity.
  • 2+ years of experience providing helpdesk and/or other technical support
  • Able to critically think through defects, issues risks & action items to determine appropriate course of action
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is Required.
  • Will require a Covid Vaccine or be willing to get it.
