Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in home decor fabrication and be proficient in using industrial sewing machines and sergers. This role involves fabricating high-quality pieces while ensuring precision and attention to detail throughout the sewing process. The Seamstress will work in a collaborative environment, contributing to the overall success of our production team.

This is a full-time, in-person position.

Duties

Operate industrial sewing machines (straight stich, serger) to fabricate pillow covers.

Must know how to install invisible zippers quickly and efficiently.

Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.

Maintain an organized workspace within the shop to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery and handling materials.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of proven experience in home decor sewing and working with velvet fabrics.

Proficiency in operating various types of industrial sewing machines is a must.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work consistently.

Ability to work independently and as part of the team.

Ability to read, understand, and execute fabrication instructions.

Great attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to quality.

Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines effectively.
