Job Overview

We are seeking a trustworthy caregiver that will care for our clients with professionalism and compassion wherever the clients call home. The caregiver will be responsible for implementing our clients’ daily care plan in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with agency policies and industry standards.

Duties

Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.

Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive living environment.

Monitor and document vital signs, ensuring accurate medical records are maintained in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Administer medications as prescribed and assist with medication management.

Utilize EMR or EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient care and progress.

Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.

Assist clients with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary.

Provide specialized care for patients with Alzheimer’s or dementia, ensuring their safety and comfort.

Observe changes in client conditions and report any concerns to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider.

Engage in hospice care practices when required, providing compassionate end-of-life support.

Experience

Candidates should have prior experience in caregiving or home health settings, particularly in:

Assisted living facilities or nursing homes.

Working with individuals who have developmental disabilities or chronic illnesses.

Providing long-term care services including memory care and hospice care. Familiarity with medical terminology, CPR certification, catheter care, and knowledge of vital signs is preferred. Experience using EMR/EHR systems for medical documentation is also beneficial. Requirements

● Valid Driver’s license

● Knowledge of home management skills

● Have reliable transportation

● Have a High School Diploma

● Genuine Desire to help seniors
