Description We are seeking an HR Generalist to join our team in Waco, Texas. In this role, you will be instrumental in the administration of Human Resources functions, working closely with the HR Manager and other department managers to address and resolve employment-related issues. You will also be responsible for handling benefits administration, maintaining compliance with employment law, and overseeing onboarding and offboarding activities.Responsibilities: Assisting in the creation and implementation of HR policies and addressing inquiries related to them Participating in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations Overseeing the biweekly payroll process and handling all related items Leading the administration of benefits such as 401(k) and Employee Health Insurance, including managing inquiries and ensuring compliance with all plan requirements Ensuring adherence to employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and other applicable areas Supporting workplace safety by observing safety rules and maintaining the annual OSHA 300 log Managing Workers Compensation claims and liaising with the carrier and department managers regarding restrictions and return to work plans Coordinating all onboarding and offboarding activities Responding to all TWC Unemployment Insurance claims Maintaining organizational charts and being available to employees on the Factory Floor Participating in Daily Facility Walk-Thru and leading when necessary.Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in the role of HR Generalist or similar capacity Holds a Bachelor's degree Completed or eligible for SHRM certification Strong knowledge and experience in Benefit Functions Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal Proven experience in Compliance and Employee Relations Familiarity with FMLA and its applications Proficiency in HR software such as Paylocity and Workday Extensive experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration Solid understanding of Benefits Administration and Benefits Coordination Experience with Employee Relations Investigations Knowledgeable in managing Terminations and Onboarding processes Understanding of Employment Law Ability to handle Employment Verifications Experience with Worker's Compensation and Worker's Compensation Claims Capable of managing Unemployment ClaimsRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
