Description A fantastic client is partnering with Robert Half and in search of a Human Resources (HR) Manager in South Dallas, Texas. This role is vital to our operations as it oversees a variety of HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and offboarding. The HR Manager will also be tasked with ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, managing payroll and benefits administration, fostering a positive work environment, maintaining and updating HR policies and procedures, as well as leading a team of direct reports.Responsibilities:HR Management:

Oversee the full cycle of HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and offboarding.

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including TWC (Texas Workforce Commission) requirements.

Payroll and Benefits Administration:

Manage payroll processing using Paycom, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Oversee benefits administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.

Coordinate and manage open enrollment periods, ensuring employees are informed and can make necessary changes to their benefits.

Employee Relations and Engagement:

Foster a positive work environment through effective employee relations practices.

Address and resolve employee issues and grievances promptly and effectively.

Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance job satisfaction and retention.

Compliance and Reporting:

Maintain and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements.

Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies as needed.

Conduct regular audits to ensure HR compliance and best practices.

Team Leadership:

Manage and mentor a team of four direct reports, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.

Ensure that the HR team delivers high-quality services to employees and managers.

Strategic HR Planning:

Partner with senior management to align HR strategies with business goals.

Analyze HR metrics and data to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the HR function.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Minimum of 5 years in HR with management experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

Proven experience managing payroll and benefits using Paycom or similar HRIS systems.

Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, particularly within Texas.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team.

Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.

Ability to work effectively in a multi-location environment.
