Implementation Engineer/Product Owner

Summary:

  • The position will involve working closely with development teams to implement new products and support them in day to day activities. The candidate must be a self-starter with excellent communication skills, experienced in issue management including root cause analysis and develop processes/procedures for product deployment, install and configuration.
  • The candidate will also act as the first line of defense in understanding user requirements/issues and convey the same to the product team and build an issue tracker and rollout schedule of bug fixes and enhancements. The candidate will act as the SME for all deployed products/components and will interface with the execution teams for a smooth rollout and handover of products/components to the execution teams.

Skills Must Have

  • 5+ yrs. implementation experience of Java and Python applications including setup, configuration, starting/stopping services.
  • 5+ yrs. analytical experience in debugging java and Python applications including trouble shooting, root cause analysis, process workarounds and optimizations.
  • 3+ yrs. experience in product rollout, training and support.
  • 1+ yrs. experience on messaging platforms like KAFKA, setting up topics, establishing data loading processes and automations for data loading and processing
  • 2+ yrs. experience in shell scripting and autosys/cron job based automation

Desired Skills:

  • Ability to learn new products including their execution and rollout.Additional skills:
  • Development experience in Java/Python is a significant plus.
  • Unix based implementation experience is a significant plus.
  • Exposure in confidential data discovery, data sanitization of confidential data is a significant plus.
  • Support multiple projects with competing deadlines
