Schedule: Typical schedule will either be 1st or 2nd shift, but there is the possibility for weekend requirements. Schedules will be set in advance and communicated a week + ahead of time.
Implementation Manager Oxford’s client is looking for a Implementation Manager to work with a the project team and vendors to assist with upgrading classroom technology. The consultant will be responsible for limited configuration and install work, but their primary duties will be around documentation and communication with vendors, client PM, and stakeholders. The process is already built and the consultant would be responsible for assisting lower resources setup computing devices. Must: Highly Flexible Experience with equipment to including; Projectors, Audio Visual, Microsoft Desktop Vendor Walk Through Experience Self Managed Strong Documenation • Experience working with high level stakeholders• Prior experience with scheduling and managing teams and supporting learning spaces and technical accounts. Ability to supervise and train subordinates. Assists in hiring, training, mentoring, and supervising junior technical staff.• Knowledge of systems security procedures and protocols• Considerable knowledge of principles of computing and/or communications networks, and characteristics of computing hardware and software used in distributed environments.• Strong Documenation; including the ability to provide scope and prioritization on work assignments, paying strong attention to detail and deadlines• Ability to assimilate, retain, and utilize technical and applications-oriented information. Plus: Experience working in higher education General Responsibilities:- 100% dedicated on-site project resource (delegating certain aspects of work that needs to be complete to identified teams as needed).- Coordination for equipment receipt and installation between project team, the vendor, and the room custodian.- Coordinate and track technology registration, installation and removal of technology that has been sent to surplus.- Test installed equipment and confirmed job completion in each room.- Works closely with PM, and with inventory and distribution services to provide meaningful daily update on all activities related to installation.- Primary liaison with device registration lead, technology and room custodians, inventory contacts, inventory and distribution services, installation support, infrastructure operations, network operations. - Physical room walkthroughs. - Coordinate - Technology needs in the room e.g., power drops etc.- Inventory assistance and verify and confirm - Add remove of technology inventory. Confirm asset’s intake and removal along with moving etc.- Confirm Vendors work and technology is functional, and implementation is acceptable to client’s support team- Assist with managing and maintaining device setup and enrollment into appropriate device management tools. - Assist with maintaining and updating documentation for standards, services, processes, and procedures as needed. - Assists PM working with vendors to resolve issues
