Join our team and start your journey today!AS AN INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER, YOU WILL:

Execute Lean initiatives to support continuous improvement and reduce costs.

Develop and lead projects that support sustainability.

Perform workflow analyses and plant layouts to optimize the flow and staging of products.

Develop business plans and Appropriation Requests to requisition money for capital projects to drive ROI.

Generate and analyze reports from the data analytical system.

Lead projects in the development and implementation of automation in a distribution center where it currently does not exist.  This will include design, specification, directing and managing vendors, installation, and qualification of automated systems and equipment.

Support continuous improvement for customer quality issues and corrective action.

Other duties/projects as assigned by the Distribution Center Manager.

​REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: ​

Bachelor's degree with a major in an appropriate engineering or scientific discipline plus 3 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience

Ability to read and understand product drawings, bills of materials, and quality documentation

Strong computer skills and proficiency in Excel

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication (listening, meeting facilitation, project report outs, etc.)

Project management experience

Capable of utilizing Lean tools such as Kanban, VSM, pull systems, demand-driven Supply Chain, and Perfect Execution strategies.

Excellent communication skills
