- Responsible for designing integrated cloud solutions.
- Exhibit leadership to the security team in management of daily security operation center functions.
- Consult on security requirements and identify system integrations by evaluating and understanding business strategies and requirements.
- Collaborate with our practice areas, as well as external resources, to ensure all information security-related matters are designed and maintained appropriately.
- Serve as the security expert in application design, cloud, network, mobility, and platform (operating systems) efforts.
- Research and understand the continuously changing security landscape and new requirements these changes bring.
- Plan and champion new security technologies, architectures, and products that will support the information security requirements for the firm.
- 8+ years of experience in security management, information security risk assessments, information security engineering, network security management, application design and architecture, and/or network engineering.
- 5+ years of hands on and progressive information security design and implementation experience.
- Security cloud architecture models experience and knowledge focusing on deployments.
- Must have cloud experience with Azure and AWS.
- Integration of cloud services experience.
- Technical knowledge on cyber threats and risks.
- Experience with design of security across a broad platform (applications, servers, network, cloud, etc.).
- Experience with firewalls (perimeter and web application) and knowledge of IP networking and network security tools including intrusion prevention, SIEM, DDOS protection services, encryption, PKI, virtual private network, proxy services, wireless and domain name resolution.
- Experience providing internal penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, verification of network segmentation, and remediation of associated findings.
- Exceptional planning, organization, communication, presentation, multi-tasking, prioritization, documentation, and business analysis skills.
- Ability to interpret technical needs and provide thorough and complete designs.
- Knowledge of common IT regulatory compliance requirements associated with any of the following HIPAA, HITECH, ISO 27001/2, SOC 1/2, SOX, PCI and security best practices and procedures.
- CISSP certification is highly preferred.
- Accredited certifications a plus, such as: CRTSA, CNDA, GDSA, CSSA, ISSAP, CSSP.
