Information Security Engineer

MDMS is recruiting for an Information Security Engineer for a leading financial services firm. You will help work on projects focused on cybersecurity, privacy, vulnerability management, and more. Your duties will include vulnerability and compliance scanning, vulnerability management, security tool management and security configurations, security KPI development, investigating security findings, security control development, overseeing documentation and standards, and scripting. Prior experience in the financial services sector if preferred.Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in IT and Information Security.
• Experience working on vulnerability scanning & assessments, as well as compliance scanning.
• Experience implementing and managing security tools/SIEM tools/firewalls/etc.
• Knowledge of and experience with networking technologies, databases, Linux & Windows systems, cloud technologies, and scripting/automation.
• IT & Cybersecurity certifications (such as a CISSP, OSCP, CISM, etc.) are preferred.
• BA or BS in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
