Information Security Manager

MDMS is recruiting for an Information Security Manager for a leading financial services firm. You will help lead a team of security specialists and projects focused on cybersecurity, privacy, vulnerability management, and more. You will be responsible for a team of specialists in different geographical regions, and prior experience overseeing global/enterprise-level teams is preferred. Your duties will include people management (such as hiring and managing engineers, coaching junior stuff, and mentoring employees throughout their career paths), security tool management and security configurations, security tool designs, vulnerability monitoring, security KPI development, security control development, and overseeing documentation and standards. Prior experience in the financial services sector if preferred.Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in IT and Information Security, including 3+ years of management experience.
• Experience implementing and managing security tools/SIEM tools/firewalls/etc.
• Experience working on vulnerability scanning & assessments, as well as compliance scanning.
• Knowledge of and experience with networking technologies, databases, Linux & Windows systems, cloud technologies, and scripting/automation.
• IT & Cybersecurity certifications (such as a CISSP, OSCP, CISM, etc.) are preferred.
• BA or BS in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
