Infrastructure Engineer

Dallas, TX (hybrid) We have an exciting new job opening for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our client’s fantastic IT infrastructure team based at their corporate headquarters in Dallas, TX. This Engineer will take a lead role within the infrastructure team, and key resource in the relationship with the Operations side of the organization. This position will require a strong knowledge in security operations, spanning SIEM/SOC, edge, cloud, end point, server, network, and manufacturing systems/IOT. Public and Private cloud will also be a core responsibility in the management of our private cloud, and our public cloud Tenant space. Beyond the technical needs, this role will play a key role in acting as a liaison and point of contact working with the Manufacturing and Engineering teams (relative to security) in the effort of supporting, educating, and developing solutions which solve common business goals. You will have the opportunity to work across enterprise security operations, public and private cloud, projects, network audit and systems administration.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and develop the cybersecurity procedures for risk mitigation, Identification, isolations, remediation, and recovery
  • Work in concert with our Manufacturing Engineering to address emerging and active cyber threats
  • Operationalize the discipline of Disaster recovery and Continuity planning, across the Enterprise
  • Research trends and opportunities to evolve our security posture
  • Support and Administer our Private Cloud Virtual infrastructure and Tenant Space
  • Collaborate to define proper configuration standards and controls
  • Continuously strive for efficiencies and automation
  • Researching new technology to be brought to the department for review
  • Align with department manager on financial measurements vs. Operational and Project spend
  • Manage and lead documenting internal controls, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure proper segregation of duties
  • Audit
  • Prem and Cloud Administration
  • Server OS admi
  • Strong and dependable resource to the IT and larger Business
  • Be the subject matter expert in the Operational Security posture of our Manufacturing environment and deliver timely and accurate results

REQUIREMENTS
  • 5+ years of experience in Virtual Private Infrastructure, Microsoft Cloud Infrastructure, and Server Hardware
  • 5+ years of experience with Windows Server OS, Active Directory and Exchange, Creation and maintaining server environments, Enterprise level permissions, patching, and creation of server environments
  • 3+ year working with Enterprise class wireless environments, Storage (SAN, NAS)
  • 3+ years of experience with certificate management
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, Certifications, or equivalent work experience
  • Must be familiar with Enterprise networking concepts and technologies, which must include IP subnetting and virtualized networking
  • Industry recognized Security certifications are a plus
  • Must show an interest in contributing to Cyber Security program development, must have a willingness to be involved in Cyber Security Efforts and have a desire to evolve Cyber Skillset
  • Experience with independently managing projects and delivering results on time and accurately
  • Proven ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management; Ability to promote and participate in team environment concepts
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Proven track record of implementing new/innovative processes and procedures
  • Self-starter who can work independently within tasks and projects simultaneously, and who can contribute to functional areas of the business outside of the accounting area.
