Location: Houston, TX Description: Our client is currently seeking a Infrastructure Support - Intermediate
Responsibilities:•Develop, test, and debug automated tasks (Apps, Systems, Infrastructure)•Troubleshoot priority incidents, facilitate blameless post-mortems•Work with development teams throughout the software life cycle ensuring sustainable software releases•Perform analytics on previous incidents and usage patterns to better predict issues and take proactive actions•Build and drive adoption for greater self-healing and resiliency patterns•Lead and participate in performance tests; identify bottlenecks, opportunities for optimization, and capacity demands•Participate in the 24x7 support coverage as needed - •Must be able to work shift Sun to Wed 7:00am - 6:00pm EasternQualifications:•Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in infrastructure or software engineering discipline•At least 3 years of experience deploying, maintaining and troubleshooting large scale, complex hardware infrastructure and/or software applications•Minimum 3 years of experience developing, maintaining and troubleshooting scripts in at least one of the following: Windows PowerShell, Unix Shell Scripting, Perl, Python, Java, Ansible •Experience managing enterprise Operating Systems (Windows, Red Hat Linux, AIX, etc.) a plus•Experience with Data Protection and Backup applications (Veritas NetBackup, IBM TSM, Cohesity, etc.) and infrastructure (tape drives, tape libraries, Veritas NetBackup Appliances, EMC Dell Data Domain, etc.) a plus•Advanced knowledge of one or more infrastructure components (e.g. networking, cloud services, orchestration tools, containerization, compute, and storage systems)•Proficiency in service-level changes to a system and troubleshooting componentsContact: This job and many more are available through The Judge Group.
