Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate installation projects, ensuring smooth execution—from initial planning through final completion.
Oversee mechanical installations and system set-ups, including equipment assembly, sheet metal work, ductwork installation, and low-voltage systems.
Provide direction for electricians regarding line voltage wiring.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams accurately for execution planning.
Operate heavy and specialized equipment: forklift, telehandler, scissor lift, manlift.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on-site; execute repairs or adjustments proactively.
Ensure quality and precision—maintain high workmanship standards and attention to detail.
Supervise and mentor installation team members; foster teamwork, cooperation, and accountability.
Work both independently and collaboratively—able to take initiative and support others.
Adaptable mentality for performing self install, supervised install, or hybrid based on specific project requirements.
Prioritize proactive planning—scheduling, resource allocation, logistics, material staging.
Maintain strong customer relations; promote excellent service, clear communication, and professionalism.
Work efficiently under varied conditions including inclement weather, outdoor environments, and tight deadlines.
Adhere to safety policies; ensure a clean driving record, valid driver’s license, and pass background checks.
Requirements:
Proven experience in mechanical installation and maintenance (e.g., HVAC, industrial equipment, sheet metal, ductwork).
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
Willingness to travel - estimated 40% of time.
Willingness to work in various different weather conditions.
Dependable and on-time.
Comfortable lifting up to 75 lbs safely and frequently.
Skilled in reading CAD documents, blueprints and electrical schematics.
Experience operating heavy equipment: forklift, telehandler, scissor lift, manlift.
Working knowledge of 3-phase power systems and low-voltage controls.
Excellent leadership, customer service, and communication skills.
Reliable, detail-oriented, proactive, efficient, and adaptable.
Clean background check required.
Valid driver’s license.
