The Instructional Designer is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining learning and development documentation to support Company system rollouts, including maintenance of current training materials as system updates are made. This role will be responsible for developing engaging and effective learning tools for a broad range of audiences, including front-line crewmembers, managers and those working at our Restaurant Support Office.Applies instructional design techniques to develop best in class training materialsDefines learning objectives based on requirements and using sound instructional design expertiseDevelops new learning courseware using blended learning solutions with a creative approach to designDesigns and develops training materials, including manuals, eLearning modules, quick reference guides and video tutorialsEnsures crewmembers and managers effectively adopt and utilize new systems, contributing to smoother transitions during technological implementationsParticipates occasionally in system testing phases to understand functionality and user challengesTranslates technical system processes into user-friendly contentEstablishes and executes project plans to successfully deliver projects on-time and within budgetCollaborates with subject matter experts to ensure quality and accuracy of contentMaintains and updates existing contentActs as internal consultant by analyzing and recommending solutions to training issues relating to assigned program or section areaServes as an innovative expert for training systems and tools, staying current of trends and providing direction and assistance on the development of new and effective ways to train
