Description We are offering a long term REMOTE contract employment opportunity for an Insurance Plan Finance & Accounting Manager. This role involves managing financial operations within the healthcare insurance industry, including financial analysis and reporting.This is a 6-12 month contract position. Work can be done REMOTELY.Insurance Plan Finance & Accounting Manager (contract position):Looking for someone with Texas finance experience with health insurance products (Medicaid, ACA, etc).Responsibilities: Maintain and improve financial and accounting system controls and standards. Facilitate timely financial and statistical reporting for management use. Construct and share financial reports on a regular basis; monthly, quarterly and annually. Analyze and interpret statistical and accounting data to assess operational profitability and performance against the budget. Efficiently manage and utilize company assets. Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local legal standards by researching new and existing legislation and consulting with external advisors. Confirm the organization's compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, and maintain record keeping that satisfies the needs of auditors and government agencies.
