Description:Job Description:Texas Health is looking for a Insurance Verifier to assist their THR team with business as usual. Use of analytical and interpretation skills when applying verification guidelines and principles for correct code assignment and proper sequencing of diagnoses and procedures. Strong knowledge of PAIC, moderate skills including MS Office Suite, Encoder software and computer-assisted VOIP and Avaya phones, effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to generate clear documentation queries to physicians.Essential Functions Reviews and interprets payor information to accurately identify pertinent information Assigns and sequences following the CHAA Certification guidelines Abstracts and compiles clinical data elements for verification Validates and initiates communication and collecting correct information Queries physician when documentation in the record is ambiguous, inadequate, unclear or incorrect Collaborates with Clinical Documentation to ensure verification from Payor Websites Demonstrates ability to navigate insurance portals and payor websites. strong understanding of Epic Demonstrates timely completion of all THR training and education as well as maintains credentials by completing assigned continuing education credits per THR Coding Compliance requirements.must be comfortable with PHI and secured dataSkills:CHAA, epic, avaya, tracer, payor websites, trace, ValidationTop Skills Details:CHAA,epic,avaya,tracer,payor websites,trace,ValidationAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Personality is very important for this position - Professionalism - Great communication - Hard worker - Ability to multi-task - Problem solving skills
