POSITION SUMMARYThe Integration Software Development Analyst II reviews, analyzes, and modifies business application integrations including coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs for new or existing systems in accordance with project plans and specifications. The Analyst II is responsible for providing accurate and timely completion of technical development and support tasks in accordance with Information Systems standards and methodologies.

Read More Responsibilities GENERAL SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES:
  • Responsible for developing software tasks in accordance with Information System standards and methodologies
  • Develop reports, upon request, utilizing various report-writing tools in all applications
  • Ensure management awareness of problems that are severe in nature or that are exceeding documented targets
  • Review outstanding issues on a daily basis to ensure that troubleshooting and resolutions are current
  • Monitor and report on any security violations related to the unwarranted access to corporate data
  • Create, maintain, and update disaster recovery procedures when changes in hardware or applications occur
  • Ensure all changes comply with change management policies and procedures
  • Work with end users and other Information Services staff to develop criteria for specific phases of assigned projects, and ensure proper testing of all developed solutions
  • Assist in the design and development of database schemas
  • Lead the development of small applications with minimal supervision
  • Address Help Desk issues escalated for level 3 development support
  • Participate in relevant information-sharing activities
  • Provide technical mentoring to the more junior developers
  • Maintain awareness of the rapidly changing environment and recommend cost efficient techniques
INTEGRATION SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES:
  • Apply system requirements to design and develop business application integrations between software platforms, programs, and applications
  • Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
  • Conduct performance benchmarking & tuning Integration interfaces
  • Help maintain, improve, and develop application integration processes
  • Participate in code reviews & optimization discussions
  • Provide testing support & deployment support to release teams
  • Integration build & deployment automation using tools like Bamboo
  • Conducting Unit testing & automating regression testing scenarios using SOAP UI or similar functional test suite
  • Provide reusable frameworks for auditing, logging, and exception handling
  • Document integration business processes and business rules and maintain in tools such as Confluence
  • Adhere to established Service Levels for response times to events and production incidents

Read More Qualifications EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or in a related field from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience and education
  • In lieu of an undergraduate degree, the ratio is 1:1 meaning one year of college is equal to one year of directly related work experience and vice versa
JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE
  • Customarily has at least five or more years of experience as an integration software developer
  • Technical experience should include knowledge of:
    • ASP.NET Framework, .NET Core, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g., Model-View-Controller (MVC))
    • At least one of the .NET languages (e.g., C#, Visual Basic .NET)
    • Service-Oriented Architecture and knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML, etc.)
    • Front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular JS, etc.
    • Agile methodologies
    • Azure Functions / Azure web applications preferred
  • Experience in business process improvement
