JOB SUMMARY Nabors is seeking a mechanical engineer to assist in designing components for our green energy division in various projects. This candidate will be working with various team members in the energy transition division and will CAD and create different components and pieces while having the ability to mockup designs for in house/outsource machining for tests. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete assigned projects and adhere to benchmarks
  • Model mechanical design concepts using 3D parametric software
  • Perform engineering calculations as required
  • Perform finite element analysis as needed
  • Methodology improvement on current projects
  • Process cause and corrective action for non-conformances
  • Create / review work instructions, supplier management, and component or integrated system tests
  • Prepare ECN, bills of material, detail, and assembly drawings
  • Prepare controls drawings (schematics, wire charts)

  • Walking or standing for long periods of time
  • Bending or stooping
  • Climbing stairs and/or ladders
  • Lifting up to 50lbs
  • Use of hand tools and lab equipment
