The Internal Communications Specialist II is responsible for developing, planning, executing and measuring internal communications activities aimed at increasing employee engagement through communication programs that connect, inform, align, and inspire employees with Elbit America’s mission, vision, values, culture and strategy. The Specialist must be an effective collaborator, able to work with others (HR, Employee Engagement, External Communications, Creative Strategies, business unit leaders/managers, etc.) to tell the company story and build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. This position reports to the Internal Communications Manager. ResponsibilitiesMust be a strong writer, able to create content for a variety of communications channels, including: newsletter, email, digital signage, manager talking points, executive messaging, audio/video scripts, intranet, and internal social platform.Develop relationships and work closely with business unit leaders to understand each unit’s accomplishments, such as new contract awards, technological advancements and innovations, customer demonstrations, and customer visits to Elbit America sites. Develop stories for internal audiences and channels describing how those accomplishments advance company’s M/V/V and business objectives.Create and write messages to support ongoing and recurring HR initiatives: midyear performance review, annual performance review, annual merit pay increase, benefits enrollment, wellness, internal learning/professional development opportunities, etc.Proactively engage functional organizations to support upcoming or ongoing activities: security and cybersecurity awareness, company-wide software rollouts, ethics initiatives, policies and procedures updates/changes, etc.To help employees connect to the company and to one another, work closely with the Employee Engagement team and others across the organization who are advancing Elbit America’s family culture: DEI, ESG, employee community groups, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society committee, etc.Maintain close coordination and collaboration with EEIC site leads and help Identify opportunities to leverage site-specific news companywide and externally.Act as a member of the employee crisis communications response team.As needed, act as photographer/videographer.As a member of the EEIC and broader HR team, act as back-up and assist others in the department as needed.Hybrid position, requires some travel
