Job DescriptionAn employer is looking for a Development Tech Lead to sit remotely. Your primary focus will be to own lead development efforts related to the clients international/ LATAM ecommerce products. You will provide hands on assistance with the build out of a design system that caters to a world-wide audience and reduces time to iterate on new features and ideas. You will dedicate about 70% of your time to performing/ leading hands on development efforts and the other 30% dedicated to mentoring/ training other engineers as well as participate in strategy and architectural conversations. You will leverage new technologies, platforms, and partners like GraphQL, NestJS, React/ React Native, AWS, etc. You will design and present new initiatives, software and architecture/ design patterns to your peers and support your efforts through to fruition. You will operate in an Agile/ Scrum fashion and partner closely with peer teams to ensure quality and timely development results. Additional tasks will include building new React components, API endpoints and AWS infrastructure as code as well as writing Unit and end to end tests as needed.Skills and Requirements7+ years experience in JavaScript/ Typescript (front-end and back-end)Proven experience leading/ mentoring teams (2+ years)Node, React/ React Native experienceExtensive experience with AWS (SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, ECS, CloudFront, Lambda, etc).Familiarity with SQL/ NoSQL databases and event-driven architectureExperience working in an Agile/ Scrum methodologyExperience with DevOps methodologies and practicesUnit and end to end testing experienceBilingual English/ Spanish Ecommerce experienceTerraform with AWSGraphQL nullWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
