Who knows where our shared journey will take you?The Inventory and Forecasting Specialist will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing inventory levels, identifying trends, develop a forecast and making recommendations to optimize inventory to improve availability and meet business financial targets at our Grand Prairie, Texas location. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure inventory availability and accuracy while meeting our financial targets for inventory levels and profitability.You will make an impact by:

Works closely with purchasing, planning, manufacturing, and procurement to plan and prioritize supply to fulfill customer requirements on time and ensure maximum performance, considering factory’s requirements and financial goals.

Collect, document, monitor, and review inventory data for accuracy and timeliness within SAP.

Maintain monthly inventory reconciliations, produce inventory reports on a regular basis to drive strategies for inventory control and management.

When needed, coordinate meetings and efforts with all department managers to discuss and troubleshoot for discrepancies reductions.

Manages MRP via SAP, monitoring requisitions, Purchase Orders, exception reports, among others, to align with inventory and delivery targets.

Reviews SAP master data including, but not limited to, minimum order quantities, safety stocks, lead times, purchasing info records, etc.

Research and analyze current and future demand to develop forecast and to support the development of sourcing strategies.

Review slow movers for possible disposition.

Support tactical/operational responsibilities and process improvements for purchasing team.

Promote teamwork and continuous improvement.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualification:

3-5 years of experience as purchasing supervisor, supply chain analyst roles and/or procurement analyst with MRP system experience in manufacturing environment.

BS/BA/BSE in related discipline, or advanced degree or Equivalent Experience

Advanced experience of SAP, Excel, and Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

APICS CSCP and/or CPIM

Lean Manufacturing experience

Microsoft Access

Excel Macros

Supervisory experience

The pay range for this position is $71,190 - $122,040. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
