Job Description:

Responsible for activity reconciliation to monitor results of servicing functions performed on "Serviced for Others" loans, asset loans and aggregate loan portfolios. Ensures accurate, efficient, and timely preparation of financial analysis for all loans within the servicing portfolio on a periodic or ad hoc basis for investors and/or corporate finance. This position carries great financial exposure and requires the ability to apply analytical skills and sound judgment, focusing on key areas of borrower impact, investor impact and corporate impact to ensure accurate management and administration of the portfolios. Requires ability to read and understand legal contracts and government regulations to manage the collateral of the investor and ensure servicing organization compliance. Handles more complex and varied levels of transactions requiring subject matter expertise in many facets of Loan Servicing and forensic accounting to resolve aged and complex transactional issues. Providing support and assistance to the Team Manager. Trains and mentors teammates, however does not have direct management responsibility. Typically will have more than 5 years experience with a working knowledge of the mortgage business and/or financial reporting and analysis.

Required skills and experience:

-3-5 years of accounting, reconciliation, investor accounting, or comparable financial services experience-Proficient in all MS Office applications-Advanced Excel skills and usage of complex formulas-Strong research and analytic skills-Strong financial analysis and data presentation skills-Consistent and effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Desired skills:

-Bachelor degree preferred or equivalent work experience preferred and some Investor Asset Management experience.

-Experience with pivot tables and macros
