Location: Austin, TX Description: Our client is currently seeking a IOS & Android Mobile Developer
This job will have the following responsibilities: Design, code, test, and debug applications that meet system standards and functional/performance requirements. The position will be responsible for unit testing and code reviews and other development activities for approved projects, system improvements, and ad-hoc or emergency requests. This position may work as an IT functional track lead for a team of developers to evaluate and implement technology solutions that meet business objectives. Conducts code reviews with peers and management. Serves as a technical leader for junior staff. Qualifications & Requirements:- Functional expert in the areas of application architecture, software development and analysis.
- Familiar with standard client/server architecture.
- Strong OOD / OOP knowledge.
- Multithreaded application experience.
- Experience with the creation of physical and logical design documents.
- Knowledge and experience with object-oriented design and implementation.
- Proven ability to carry a feature from start to finish, including prototypes, design specifications, constructive coding, unit testing, and bug fixing.
- Ability to quickly and accurately perform troubleshooting and repair of existing applications.
- Good diagnostic, analytical, design and communication skills
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems and/or equivalent work experience
- 6-10+ (+/-) years of experience developing large scale Android applications (Kotlin and/or Java).
- Working experience with Kotlin
- Hands-on experience supporting multiple versions of Android SDKs, screen resolutions and device types
- Experience with asynchronous communication
- A proven track record of high productivity in application, architecture, design, coding, and debugging
- Experience with enterprise level branching/merging with Jenkins and/or Bamboo (Experience with Bitrise environment is a plus)
- Understand mobile performance, latency, and security issues with extensive experience using performance analysis tools Knowledgeable of security best practices for mobile application development/integration
- In-depth knowledge of current technological trends, developments, and best practices in the area of information security, wireless network architecture, mobile technologies, and associated concepts.
