Summary Provide technical and administrative direction to the development of new EDP support systems and the maintenance and enhancements of operational EDP systems. Description •20% Responsible for recruiting and hiring, coaching and mentoring, monitoring and evaluation, and addressing all disciplinary issues in a timely manner. Encourage staff in creating and maintaining a work environment with high morale and employee satisfaction through support of professional development, training, career growth, and rewarding high performance.

•30% Coordinate activities through direct and indirect staff.

•20% Participate in budgeting and capital equipment processes and quality improvement activities.

•30% Meet scheduled milestones to ensure project/program objectives are met in a timely manner.

Required Education:
  • Bachelor's degree - Any Major.
(Equivalency not applicable for the Celerian Group. Bachelor's degree required.)

Required Work Experience:
  • 7 years of related job IT experience.
  • Prior team lead, supervisor, or management experience OR equivalent military experience in grade E4 of above (may be concurrent).

Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Thorough technical knowledge of the capabilities of available hardware and software resources.
  • Demonstrated flexibility for adapting to both changing business, technical and client needs.
  • A complete understanding of the systems life cycle, as defined in the ISSM. In-depth knowledge of the principles, theories, practices, and techniques for managing activities related to planning, managing, and implementing software projects/programs.

Standard office equipment.

Work Environment:

Fast paced, multi-platformed environment which may require action and response 24X7 to support the technical business needs of the customer.
