JOB DESCRIPTIONGray Reed & McGraw currently has an immediate opening for a full-time IT Analyst. The Analyst will be a member of the Information Technology Services team and will report to the IT Director.

We are seeking an IT professional with two years of experience in the legal industry. The individual should be someone who is disciplined and the ability to multi-task and prioritize projects.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCEProficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point (2007-2013)Basic Understanding of Microsoft Networking (Light to Moderate AD Knowledge)1-3 Years of Experience in similar role

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEMicrosoft OS and Active Directorya. Understand the basics of how AD works (domain structure/Users/Groups, etc.)b. Understand how AD Security Policies workc. Knowledge of mapping a network drive and connect to a UNC pathd. Knowledge of setting security on folders/sharese. Knowledge networking basics (TCP/IP,DNS)f. Knowledge of installing/stopping/starting servicesg. Ability to read event logsh. Knowledge of Windows Task Scheduler

DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITIESBasic Help Deska. Desktop Support with regards to troubleshooting NetDoc/Aderantb. Training - Assist users. Write up documentation on "How-to's", Host monthly brown bag sessions to support staff on valuable topics involving, Office, document management software, accounting software; provide valuable IT tips to marketing newsletter and potentially create a new monthly IT newsletterc. Phone system modifications (setting/resetting direct dial shortcuts, Voicemail resets etc.)Up keep of Inventory (WASP). This includes the following:a. Ensure all IT equipment is tagged and in the systemb. Responsible for equipment check-in, check-out (Projectors, Laptops)Monitoring Network and Securitya. Responsible for Anti-Virus softwareb. Network security monitoringUpkeep of Help Desk Portala. Refining images as new hardware/software is introducedb. Maintaining software distributionc. Writing up How-To's and upkeep of FAQ sectionsd. Write up of IT architecture and IT standards as-well and update as changes as changes to the network are madeUpkeep of Conference room Polycom and phones. Also assist clients in connecting to wireless and/or AV
