Position: Information Technology - Application DeveloperDuration: Contract on W2 –Location: Richardson, TX - Hybrid Job Description: Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field of work, or equivalent work experience. Minimum 3.0 undergraduate GPA. Typically possesses 2 - 5 years of relevant work experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Strong interest in data wrangling, data visualization and CI/CD.
- Proficiency in Python and JSON. Experience with Pandas and Numpy is a plus.
- Experience with one or more source control repository tool such as Git or Subversion.
- Solid understanding of at least one language that interacts with databases, such as SQL, GraphQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
Primary responsibilities:Data wrangling -Merging multiple data sources into datasets for analysis Configuring pipelines for populating software systems with data Identifying and correcting gaps in data Restructuring varied data sources into standardized modelsSystem configuration -Configuring data visualizations and reports Working with Quality Engineers to diagnose and address incorrect data and visualization/reporting models Configuring re-usable queries to aggregate data from a back-endETL and CI/CD Development -Configuring and creating rules to automatically clean and transform data Configuring and developing automated validation tools for data and visualization/reporting models Maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment of software systems
