- Create a positive team member experience
- Implement new accounting standards and train personnel
- Interact with, coordinate, and lead auditor discussions
- Support mergers and acquisitions, including diligence and purchase price allocations
- Aid in the preparation and review of external and internal financial reports
- Document and present complex accounting matters
- Help identify, assess, and implement internal controls and process improvements
- Complete analysis associated with specific transactions
- Assist with the financial close, US and statutory audits and filings, covenant compliance and strategic initiatives
- 8+ years of experience in public accounting or other similar broad technical accounting related roles
- Public company and/or IPO experience a plus
- Actively licensed CPA required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- ASC 805 (acquisition/M&A) or ASC 842 (leases) experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with advanced accounting concepts such as revenue recognition, business combinations and stock-based compensation
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and maintain internal / external relationships
- Must be a self-starter with excellent time, project management, and follow-through skills
- Highly proficient with MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
