IT Monitoring SpecialistSan Antonio, TX (Telework) - Overnight Shiftship RequiredWe are looking for an IT Monitoring Specialist to work with the IRS on an overnight shift. The candidate will monitor Control-M scheduled jobs, triage job failures, and engage on-call team members or wake up additional resources to address an overnight issues Other Responsibilities Include: Monitor system-generated reports/tickets and engage appropriate team(s) and resources Monitor all performance metrics for various jobs as outlined by development team Document all production activities and issues/risks and provide daily status Provide support outside of normal working hours (outside of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Strong communicator verbally, via emails, and instant messaging, to both technical team members, enterprise operation teams, and project leadership Some level of experience using Batch Job Scheduling software such as Control-M or comparable tools Technologies used: Control-M, Greenplum Database, Informatica, Java, RHEL 6/8 Linux OS & Scripting, BOEMinimum Requirements:Associates Degree or equivalent relevant experience; Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field preferred.Experience Required:2-5years of experience in information technology, systems administration or other IT related field.#cjpost
