This position is responsible for establishing and leading enterprise wide and cross functional strategic IT initiatives for Corporate and our multiple operating units. The position provides leadership for our IT Infrastructure, Security and Acquisition Integration programs, including the Project Managers and Project Coordinators that support these areas. The position works closely with business and technical leadership, serving as an expert resource, bringing forth opportunities to better the business and influence decisions regarding business and technical process changes. The relative importance or seniority of this position is based on the strategic impact of the IT Initiatives assigned, the scope of the implementation and the complexity of the rollout. This includes ensuring project results are of the highest caliber, with a clearly articulated scope and quantifiable business benefit/value realization.

Exciting work you will do:
  • Organizes programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization and the Infrastructure, Security and Acquisition Integration roadmaps.
  • Develops new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization.
  • Creates and manages long-term goals.
  • Develops a budget and operating plan for the program.
  • Develops an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
  • Writes program funding proposals to accurately and timely fund program initiatives.
  • Manages a team of Project Managers/Coordinators with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities.
  • Ensures goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, security, quality and team member performance.
  • Implements and manages changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
  • Meets with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.
  • Produces accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.
  • Analyzes program risks and implements mitigating controls.
  • Maintains and controls the program budget, schedule and resources.
  • Responsible for all facets of our IT programs, including project planning, resource allocation, steering committee leadership, and team organizational structure management.
  • Responsible for program communications, in conjunction with our Organizational Change Manager.
  • Manages program scope, risks and issue resolutions.
  • Responsible for quality of program deliverables.
  • Manages integration of solution(s) into enterprise technical architecture and business environment.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the program can deliver the benefits outlined in the business case and that it meets the reasonable expectations of end users.
  • Responsible for procurement of package-related hardware, software and services.
  • Maintains complete autonomy for the management of the initiative to meet the needs of the business, as outlined in the business case and articulated by the steering committee.
  • Coaches and mentors staff and managers dedicated to this initiative, as well as the PMs that report directly to this role.
  • Manages project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion, including C level communication.
  • Understands the business benefits of a project by grasping business performance indicators and mapping them to goals of IT projects, oversees organizational change with the Organizational Change Manager.
  • Manages project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Understands the business benefits of a project by grasping business performance indicators and mapping them to goals of IT projects.
  • Proven capability of managing multiple priorities effectively and efficiently with ability to perform under tight deadlines and demonstrate problem solving approach while maintaining strong integrity.
  • • Manages, and appropriately escalates, delivery impediments, risks and issues including reaching out to the larger company network for impediment removal.
  • Coordinates the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.
  • Conducts project retrospectives and creates a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Maintains relevant metrics that help the team see how they are doing (project plan, status reporting, resource planning, sprint burn down charts, etc.).
  • Acts as an agile Project Manager with a focus on guiding the teams towards improving the way they work.
  • Acts as a liaison between architects, engineers and operations and fosters better communication between the functions, ensuring cross-team coordination.
  • Minimizes impact of change on project delivery.
  • Ensures end user needs are met to drive adoption.
  • Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What you will need:
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 10+ years of experience in IT Industry with an emphasis in management experience, including all aspects of process development and execution.
  • Three to five years of leadership responsibility managing midsize to large teams and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders.
  • Operational domain knowledge of IT Infrastructure, Security and Acquisition Integration.
  • Direct experience implementing cloud services.
  • > 6 Years Preferred Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other technical discipline and 15 years of experience.
  • Agile, Scrum Master Certifications preferred.
  • PMP a plus.
