Neos is currently seeking an IT Project Manager for a long-term contract position with our client in Austin, Texas.

Position requires onsite work two (2) days a week

Our client is seeking a Project Manager to assist with the management of highly complex and visible projects and/or program initiatives.

This role will follow project management methodologies and governance processes to deliver work products on time and within a set budget. The role will also collaborate with the end-user and key stakeholders to provide status updates and gather requirements, with the vendor on their implementation and delivery of contract deliverables, and with the internal IT Team. The Project Manager will be responsible for maintaining and managing the timeline for multiple projects. Further, this individual will work to identify project risks and issues and proactively manage a plan to mitigate the risks and resolve the issues.

The workers responsibilities and skills must include:

• Experience with general IT SDLC and PMLC processes.• Experience with implementing Enterprise Systems Integration projects• Experience with SAP.• Experience with mediating business units that may have conflicting requirements.• Experience driving systems integration delivery projects from 3rd party vendors to delivery acceptance and project closure.• Experience with preparing and presenting executive level project communications, project tracking and stakeholder management.• Ability to create and maintain several project artifacts including Project Timeline, Risk & Issue Log, Communication Plan, Stakeholder Register etc.• Ability to identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues• Responsible for project scope delivery adhering to and optimizing schedule, costs, and resources. Projects include our client’s projects, partners, and third-party deliverables. • Acts as the counterpart for vendors program leader to ensure customer satisfaction and be the escalation point for service delivery activities.• Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.• Must be a creative thinker to solve issues.• Must have experience of being hands-on-project manager for multiple projects

Skills / Experience 7Experience in managing all phases of large and complex technical projects.7Experience in creating and maintain various project artifacts including Project Timeline, Risk & Issue Log, Communication Plan, Stakeholder Register etc. 7Experience with general IT SDLC and PMLC processes.7Experience in identifying and managing risks and issues.7Skilled in creating and presenting succinct executive level project communications.7Skilled in gathering requirements from business divisions.7Skilled in educating business unit staff on standardized processes.7Possess strong verbal and written skills in communicating with peers and different levels of users including executive staff.7Skilled in facilitating large group meetings with internal and external resources.7Skilled in collaborating with the technical and functional teams to develop the Technical Specification and other documents need in support of the solution.5Experience in implementing Enterprise Systems Integration.
