Position Details:Client: FinancialJob Title: Security EngineerDuration: 08-12 Months+ CTH Possible extension Location: RemoteStrong PKI (5+ years) and Cryptography knowledge, Venafi or KeyFactor skills a plus IT Security Analyst Specialist, will work closely with the Cyber Security Engineer and Cyber Security Analyst in managing the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) environment.The primary responsibility will be to work with a team of Analyst to monitor Digital Certificates to ensure they are issued when requested and renewed prior to their expiration date.• Assist with the management of soon to expire certificate queue• Assist with Certificate Vulnerability remediation project• Identification & Remediation of certificate vulnerabilities• Working with LOBs• Analyze IAM / PKI technology industry and market trends, assess the impact of emerging security threats on the enterprise risk level, recommends technology direction and/or adjustments to incorporate in the business plans• Assist with design of new PKI infrastructure including but not limited to:• CPS, DR plans, HSM integrations, Monitoring plans, Audit plans, etc• Work closely with server teams to stabilize current PKI infrastructure• Work with PKI Engineering, Cyber Security, and Application Support teams in obtaining data from specific source repositories (e.g. Venafi, Qualys, Nexpose, ServiceNow) used to determine ownership of a host or piece of equipment where a cert has been discovered from a scan or agents• Work with Developers, Systems Administrators, Middleware Administrators, Software Engineers, Application owners, and executives to validate certificate(s) application, server, location, IP address, etc. and advise them on certificate expiration inventories• Escalate urgent pending PKI certificate expirations to senior PKI engineers, Application Support, and Cyber Security executives for priority remediation• Assist with onboarding various teams and importing certificates• Assist users with basic certificate creation issues• Add groups/users, manage permissions, remove groups/users• Create, cut, and deploy certificates when necessary via legacy portals or via Venafi• Make recommendations to improve maturity of existing tools and capabilities improve protection.• Meet with customers to identify and analyze requirements, risks, business processes, existing technologies, etc• Provide excellent service to every internal/external client that utilizes PKI• Other related duties assigned as needed. What you bring:• Knowledge of information storing systems (Confluence, SharePoint)• Understanding of Change Management Processes• Basic understating of Data Protection topics and Cryptography.• 5+yrs of experience with certificate management• Experience with Venafi• Experience with creating, cutting, and deploying certificates• Basic certificate security standard understanding• Basic understanding of IPv4 and IPv6• Knowledge of Agile and JIRA desirable• Knowledge of security technologies (encryption, data protection, design, privilege access, etc.• Proficiency in time management, communications, decision making, presentation and organizational skills• Proficiency in planning, reporting, establishing goals and objectives, standards, priorities and schedules• Basic to intermediate decision-making and problem solving skills• Basic to intermediate verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization• Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees and/or clientsAdded Bonus (If Any)• Seasoned Venafi experience (preferred)• Seasoned PKI experience (preferred)• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)PKI,cryptography
