IT Security Manager

IT Security Manager This well-established central North Dallas company is seeking to hire a senior-level technical IT Security professional to manage operations for the Information Security team. This is a direct-hire, primarily onsite position with hands-on and supervisory duties. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of professional IT experience including at least 2 years as a lead or manager of enterprise-level IT security and related areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with IT security operations as well as pen testing and incident response. As manager, the candidate should also have a vision of how to implement new controls while managing current needs, determining risk and vulnerability, data loss prevention, etc. This should include experience leading at least 5 technical professionals involving large-scale projects as well as a background with Sarbanes Oxley, Access Control, etc. Responsibilities include:-leading the Information Security team-coordinating IT security reviews-overseeing responsiveness to IT security incidents-ensuring PCI compliance-implementing IT security administration methodologies. Will provide oversight for SOC functioning and the SIEM's internal usage, ensure adherence to appropriate security policies and procedures, and provide documentation and training for IT security. Utilizes computer forensics for gathering and preserving evidence. Acts as a liaison with law enforcement and other external agencies when required. Will coordinate, assist and manage a team of IT technical specialists and work with SOX and IT controls. Will also serve as application manager and application architect. The position will focus primarily on Security Operations with some added duties involving General Compliance and Risk. This is a direct hire position with excellent benefits.
