Location: Dallas, TX Our client is looking for multiple IT Support Specialists to join their team and support their continued national growth. This organization has its HQ in the Dallas/Ft Worth area but operates over 65 distribution and service centers through approximately 20 subsidiaries across the US. They currently coordinate and support over 1250 independent contractors and 1500+ associates in almost 20 states.

Position Summary:The IT Support Specialist is responsible for the support and procurement of a wide array of devices including phones, laptops, and tablets. This individual is expected to stay informed and educated on newly released and emerging technology. They are responsible for cross-training other staff members and will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a large array of mobile technology. They will be expected to stay abreast of new technology trends. We are looking for local candidates. This is an in-office position so the commute to work is required.Responsibilities:
  • Research solutions for uncommon issues
  • Required to work independently
  • Must document systems, processes, and procedures
  • Communicate and demonstrate techniques while training other staff
  • Maintain a clean appearance and workspace
  • Manage an inventory of parts and accessories
  • Procurement of new hardware and replacement devices
  • Maintain and support the required company Cybersecurity posture and patching schedule
  • Consistently and accurately use the ticketing and purchasing system to enter, track and close all client transactions
  • Maintain the privacy of all client data
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Provide end-user support on iOS, Android, and Windows platforms
Professional Qualifications:
  • High school graduate or associate degree and/or related industry certifications with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency in a wide range of devices to include, but not limited to, Apple iPhones, Apple iPads, Apple iOS, Android, and Windows OS.
  • Customer Service experience
  • Must have experience in Microsoft Office Suite (I.e. Office 2013, 2016 and O365)
  • Experience with Verizon Business Portal a plus.
  • Experience using Mobile Device Management platforms
  • High proficiency configuring and troubleshooting current Windows OS
  • Knowledge of Dell or Hewlett Packard business portals is a plus
  • Experience using FedEx shipping manager is a plus
  • Knowledge of Cyber Security best practices and patching
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment and leverage the skills of other IT members.
  • We are looking for local candidates to the Dallas-Fort Worth area no relocation is available. This is an in-office position so the commute to work is required.
