Java API Developers (REMOTE)

• Participate in the design, modeling, development, and maintenance of scalable software
• Work with CTO to build cloud data platform with analytics on AWSDrive technological and architectural decisions
• Deliver technical solutions that satisfy business requirements and meet architectural standards
• Develop unit and integration tests according to organizational standards
• Assist in troubleshooting, maintenance and improvement of existing software applications
• Work with vendors and external stakeholders as needed
• Participate in design and code review for other team members

• Java (core Java)
• Spring Boot - Understanding of event-based architectures
• AWS: 3 years ( EC2, Route 53 and Cloudfront ) Understanding of SaaS implementations in a cloud-based infrastructure (AWS)
• APIs: experience architecting and developing API’s and backend applications
• RESTful Services - Expertise in server-side development using Spring MVC and Web Services (REST)
• Backend AWS - Proficiency working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
• Code Deployment
• Analytics experience is Highly Preferred
• JS is preferred as they may move to more of a Node.JS environment in the future
