Java Architect/Engineer (IAC Platform)

One of our clients is a leading Fortune 500 Financial Services Firm that is looking for a Senior Java Architect/Engineer (IaC Platform) to sit hybrid in Rutherford, NJ or Irving, TX (2-3x/week). This individual will be joining the infrastructure automation team that builds and configures application environments and provides full stack application infrastructure including compute, networking, storage, middleware, and security components. The orchestrating application is primarily Java/Spring/Angular/Kafka using microservices architecture running Kubernetes. This individual will work with enterprise infrastructure providers and application development teams to guide and co-develop automation workflows and drive infrastructure as code across the enterprise. -Angular development experience -Kafka experience-Kubernetes experience-5+ years of Java development experience-Strong experience with Microservice development and architecture (Springboot)-Linux scripting (Python/Shell)-Extensive experience working with infrastructure as code, configuration management, and CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform -Strong experience writing code that automates the provisioning of infrastructure (compute, networking, storage, middleware, and security components within Public/Private Cloud environments)-Experience architecting/developing automation solutions for complex enterprise infrastructure lifecycle including provisioning/de-provisioning, configuration, etc.
